It's tough being so small

So here's the other entry for the contest blackmanaburning.deviantart.co… by blackmanaburning.deviantart.co… this time featuring Fallon, the other protagonist of the story. I decided to draw a garden scene from the chapter 3, in which Fallon picks up a mouse that So-Rin initially scared away - I thought it was a nice contrast between their personalities and would make a nice, simple and warm scene with yellows and reds instead of the colder blue picture I drew of So-Rin. 

The drawing itself was a bit of a struggle, not gonna lie! I had a lot of trouble with composition (which made me realize, I should really study composition in pictures and I did read a book about it) as well as the colors, and I'm not 100% happy with the result, but at this point my hand can't take much more drawing - my wrist is really under some pressure and the fact I'm just about to start working properly on our next game project isn't really helping. 

Unlike with the So-Rin picture, I tried to stay as close to the original concept of Fallon as I could with her looks, but the androgyny didn't work out as well this time. The wings proved to be quite a challenge as well, if I'm being honest, and I feel like if I ever have extra time, I might try to continue with this piece and make the finished version look a little bit more... finished.
